Oregon Center for Nursing Free Workshop on October 27th

Posted over 6 years ago by Bill Schueler

Thank you for helping the Oregon Center for Nursing and Oregon Action Coalition spread the word about our upcoming FREE workshop in Bend, Oregon. We know there are many conferences for nurses offered in the Portland Metro area, and we are excited to have the opportunity to bring this workshop to Central Oregon.

OCN’s Oregon Nurses on Boards initiative wants to increase the number of nursing professionals across Oregon who serve on nonprofit, corporate, and governmental boards. A big part of that is helping nurses understand what board service is all about, and connecting them to resources to support their efforts.

On October 27th, 2017, we will offer a workshop “Plotting the Nurse’s Path to the Boardroom” at SpringHill Suites Marriott in Bend. This is a FREE half-day workshop where attendees will discover why nurses should serve on boards, how to find boards that need nurse leaders, and what they need to know to be successful in a board role. Seating is limited, so please make sure to register as soon as possible.

Here is the registration link for the workshop: http://bendplotting.bpt.me/

I’ve attached a flyer with more details about the event. We hope several nurses from your organization will be able to join us!
